Isaria München Projektentwicklungs GmbH has successfully completed the new construction project “Drei Horizonte” at Ferdinand-Happ-Strasse 23 in Frankfurt with a total of 208 rental apartments. The project comprises three buildings planned and designed by three different architects. The centerpiece is a 16-story residential high-rise.
As a subsidiary of QUARTERBACK Immobilien AG, Isaria implemented the construction project for Deutsche Wohnen, creating urgently needed living space in the immediate vicinity of Frankfurt’s city center.
The three buildings of the new construction project have been built in the up-and-coming Ostend district of Frankfurt, in the immediate vicinity of the European Central Bank. A residential ensemble with a total of 208 rental apartments was realized on a 3,000 m² plot of land. The centerpiece of the complex is a high-rise residential building with 123 apartments on 16 floors and an exceptional view of the River Main, the Frankfurt skyline and the Frankfurt city forest. The other two buildings comprise seven and eight stories with 34 and 51 apartments, respectively.
“The Ostend has developed more than almost any other district in recent years. We have succeeded excellently in integrating the new construction project into this dynamic environment,” said David Christmann, spokesman for Isaria’s management. “Once the industrial heart of the city, Frankfurt has been reimagined. On the site of the former railroad premises, ‘3 Horizons’ fits in harmoniously and forms the urban conclusion of the new quarter. It’s nice to see how the residential high-rise acts as a fixed point and central building block – even far beyond the immediate surroundings.”
The new construction project is characterized by a high quality of living. Flexible floor plans provide the framework for individual living situations, widely extending balcony staggerings offer private spaces and also architecturally underline the high standard. The three buildings were not only built to a high standard of quality, but a great deal of attention was also paid to their sustainability. E-charging stations in the underground garage and photovoltaic systems on the roof are just as much part of the concept as efficiency-enhancing smart building solutions, such as intelligent heating controls.
“The landscaped and greened courtyard blends in harmoniously and provides important shaded areas. I am confident that our new residential quarter will be awarded the Gold certificate by the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB),” adds David Christmann.
