Isaria München Projektentwicklungs GmbH is taking over the jersey sponsorship of ASV Volleyball for the coming season. The ambitious promoted team will start in the second Bundesliga with the Isaria logo on its chest. In doing so, Isaria is supporting Dachau’s top-class sports and the city’s diverse club culture.
“We wish ASV Volleyball every success for the planned season and hope that our contribution will enable them to achieve their ambitious goals. We will be cheering along and keeping our fingers crossed on match days,” says David Christmann, management spokesman at Isaria.
Sports will also play a major role for local residents in the newly developing Mühlbachviertel. Isaria is realizing the project for Deutsche Wohnen on the site of the former MD paper mill. In the spacious and park-like green spaces, several areas for sports activities are planned in the public areas. As an extension of Dachau’s old town, the new quarter is intended to become a lively part of the city, available to all Dachau residents with cafés, event areas and sports fields.
“With the new quarter, we will realize an urban space that enriches the city of Dachau as a whole. Even in the current economic situation, we can implement our ambitious plans. We are taking a sporting approach to the implementation phase and hope to get started soon. The new quarter will certainly also have a positive impact on Dachau’s diverse club life. We see our new district in the context of the city as a whole and are not creating a separate satellite. In this sense, our involvement with the volleyball players from ASV also fits in very well, adds David Christmann, who was himself an active volleyball player as a youth.
